The Fischler School of Education and Human Services is part of the renowned Nova Southeastern University, which is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association Colleges and Schools. The school offered its first Doctorate degree in education in 1972 and later on moved to the 18-acre campus located in North Miami Beach, Florida, in 1997. Approximately 40% of the Nova Southeaster University population is serviced by the Fischler School of Education and Human Services. There are over 32,000 graduates of the Fischler School and more than 30 years of distance education experience.

Innovative programs in the fields of education, leadership, instructional technology and distance education, human development, training and professional development, communication sciences and disorders, and family studies are offered at the Fischler School of Education and Human Services by a dynamic and dedicated staff.

The graduate school of education at Fischler School of Education and Human Services is the largest of its kind at an accredited university. It serves students located in over 55 cities in 29 states in the United States as well as students abroad. Nearly all of the programs offered by FSEHS are available through online curriculum, site-based, and cluster-based delivery, in such as way that they can adapt easily to the students’ various work schedules and locations.
