Offering more than 15 education degrees, the Fischler School of Education and Human Services of the Nova Southeastern University is a premier distance education program. Developed in 1971, the Fischler School of Education and Human Services has been molding students for more than thirty years now to become ripple-makes who will make their own impacts on global development. With flexibility and convenience as two of its main principles, the program offers courses that can be taken online, onsite or on campus, tailoring to people from all types of backgrounds.

The Fischler School of Education and Human Services fuses the most state of the art learning technologies with excellent and innovative curriculums for students who want to get higher education but cannot enroll in a normal university due to time or schedule constraints. At present, the school serves more than 15,000 students every year. These students have the option and benefit to choose from any of the more than 15 degrees, from associate to doctorate.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.)

Specializing in five different areas, the Bachelor of Science program of the Fischler School of Education and Human Services offers a multifaceted curriculum facilitated by accredited and dedicated professors. The five specialized areas of the program are the following: Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education, Secondary Biology Education, Secondary Mathematics Education, and Education with a concentration in Child Development.

The Bachelor of Science program of the Fischler School of Education and Human Services allows busy adults to earn a college degree without having to drop their other responsibilities. Offering 14 specialization areas, the Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree of the Fischler School of Education and Human Services offers teachers and administrators the opportunity to equip themselves with more knowledge to get better classroom results and at the same time earn credits to obtain wider job opportunities in the future. Each specialization program of the Educational Specialist degree aims to produce more effective educators and leaders with a mastery of that particular field and the right skills and attitude to foster a better learning environment. Students can choose to go for online or night and weekend classes in Florida or Nevada.

Students may choose from three major study programs, which are: (1) Doctor of Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership, (2) Educational Specialist with a specialization in Educational Leadership, and (3) Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership.

The Master of Science (M.S.) in Education degree program of the Nova Southwestern University Fischler School of Education and Human Services provides an avenue for professional practitioners to further enhance their skills and deepen their knowledge by specializing in any of the 30 majors the program offers. At the same time, they get to earn a degree and certification to teach in more schools and learning environments.
